Richard M. Chesnick, MD attended Tulane University where he graduated with a B.A. in History. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1981. Dr. Chesnick did a General Surgery residency at Lankenau Hospital from 1981-1982. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in 1985. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology.
Dr. Chesnick has been practicing MRI with a special interest in musculoskeletal imaging since 1990. Over the years, he has participated in the imaging care of numerous college athletic teams throughout the Delaware Valley, including Temple University, Villanova University, and St. Joseph's University. He also served as the team radiologist for the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League.
He routinely gives lectures to the medical community including the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) as well as the American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine. He has also published several articles regarding the shoulder, ankle, and foot.
